Vietnam’s steel imports fell 15.3% from August to 1.01 million tons in September, while scrap imports fell 28.9% month-on-month to 485,625 tons, according to Vietnamese customs data.
In the january-September period, Vietnam’s steel imports totaled 10.36 million tons, down 4% from the same period last year, while scrap imports rose 1.1% from a year earlier to 4.29 million tons.
